Accountant Assistant

If there’s something you must know about our accountant assistant Marlon, it’s that he loves to take on a challenge! Marlon brings his trademark friendly smile and enthusiasm to the table whenever there’s an opportunity to take on something new. Marlon’s typical day with Smith Thornton can see him assisting our accountants with a variety of assignments including general data entry, preparation of Business Activity Statements, summarising and analysing client data and information, the preparation of financial statements and a range of administrative tasks.

A huge fan of sports, Marlon will also challenge his physical side with weekend games of indoor volleyball, lasting all day on the indoor courts from 9am to 8pm! Just like with volleyball, Marlon applies the same dedication to accounting and believes that when you are passionate about and enjoy what you’re doing, the results will speak for themselves.
